For 30 years and longer reading Ram’s teachings has never grown old. I knew it as the first great Truth; it still contains that.I was with JZ at a 3 day seminar in the desert, a skeptic, but wanting to know a Truth I believed no human could convey. RAMTHA literally responded to a silent, mentally expressed dare from me. I decided to negate that dare, because if “he” didn’t respond, I thought it would negate everything I might otherwise gain.The next day, he found me in a crowd of 100 people, leaned close (in JZ’s body) and explained to me that he did know my thoughts, and proved to me he was quite aware of the dare I had mentally issued. It took me 3 weeks home to fully grasp what he had done, and the utter reality of it.Do not doubt that this phenomenal entity lived as he said, and more, that he was speaking through JZ when the knowledge contained in the White Book was given. That very fact is in itself mind altering. They are all around us. The unseen is alive with beings - and their reality is far more free and alive than ours - for there, there is no death. There are no endings. There is no fear.Ram was trying to say that we have it in our power to know that state of being here, on this earth, as a god in form. It’s true. Completely true. Beyond Armageddon and integration, it is true.

This book is phenomenal, but be ready to think about God and man in a totally different way. As the bible says, you cannot put new wine in old wine skins. If you grew up with the laws and dogma of religion always in the back of your mind as I did for many years, it may take some effort to think a new way. Believe me, it's worth the effort. The teachings in this book came from a high entity, being, intelligence, whatever you want to call it. I've been reading Joel Goldsmith's writings for over a year now, so I had opened my consciousness to new ways of thinking. The truth is within. If you are ready, this book will speak to you. If you are not ready, you will not bother. The teacher comes when we are ready.

Depending on your spiritual understanding this could be a total blasphame or the clearest most loving message I've ever read, I'm going with the latter. I'm not sure about the first few chapters, perhaps to weed out some who are not "ready" for this level of understanding. But then wow, I don't want It to end, I am slowing down to saver the sweet nectar. I had heard of Ramtha and J Z knight but was not drawn to it till ( I was ready) I don't know about any other teachings or books by Ramtha but this is one of my all time favorite up there with "Seth " and "ACIM" and the "I AM discourses"Btw I heard about in the suggested reading in Mike Dooly's "10 things Dead people want you to know" also a great read.

When I first heard Ramtha's channelings, more than 25 years ago, I was skeptical about his challenging and revolutionary perspective. It was all too far-fetched to seem possible. Recently, someone I trust pointed me back in this direction, and I'm so grateful he did. After 25 years of individual spiritual study, I now find Ramtha's message not only palatable, but in agreement with the conclusions I've reached by studying many alternative works. In addition, Ramtha has the added perspective of looking back at his life in a body from a broader view. Now that I've conquered my own skepticism, I've happily received revelations and freedom from these writings.

Ramatha-The White Book is a really wonderful read, I liked learning about the third eye, and the pituitary gland . If you embraced yourself in unlimited ness, you can unmold yourself and think outside the box. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to go on a true adventure of the mind! I Chose this rating because this is really my kind of thinking. Unlimited, Love it !!!!!!! I plan to read more books from this author. I can’t wait to read another one. Thank you !!!!!

Forget the bible and all the religious works and writings. RTWB cuts through all the jargon and dogma and "man-made" concepts and gets to the very basic truth of all that is. This book is not for everybody at the same time as it takes a level of understanding and "suspension of belief" to totally grasp and apply these truths. But once you do, you have arrived at true Godness.

Excellent, thought provoking presentation on who we really are and who we are not! I do have to question however why anyone (Ramtha) would want to drag an 85,000 year old body around? One of the topics in the book was that "man" fell in love with his body and thought that the body was his own"self", forgetting who he really is, where he came from, and why he's here. Maybe Ramtha needed to keep his body as a sort of security blanket. Other than that, I felt the book has some serious concepts for deeper cogitation.

This book was interesting. Some of the thoughts were difficult to grasp at first and even more difficult to actually put into practice. I enjoyed reading it and stretching my mind a bit further. I highly recommend for those that enjoy esoteric material!

This book was not good. Ignoring the numerous grammar and editing errors (a pet hate of mine), the plot was far-fetched and only made up about 10% of the book. I didn’t buy this book expecting it to be anything other than a bit of light entertainment with some good sex scenes so the slightly ridiculous plot comprising such a small part of the novel wouldn’t have bothered me if the romance and the sex had been any good.The sex scenes have a lot of dirty talk and are relatively rough. They are boring, repetitive and read like bad porn scripts. After the first two, I skipped over most of the rest (which meant I skipped over about 60% of the book). The ONLY difference between the first few sex scenes and the last couple is that the later scenes focus on anal sex rather than vaginal sex. That’s just lazy writing.So the plot wasn’t great and the sex scenes were bad. Now onto the worst parts of this book: the characters and the romance.Noah, the male protagonist (I hesitate to call him the hero because he never really acts like one) starts the story as a dark, selfish, violent and arrogant individual who has so little faith in the wife he supposedly loves that he allows her to believe he is dead for six years rather than let her see him as “weak”. He ends the story exactly the same way. There is no character growth at all.He constantly, and by constantly I mean every second page, internally berates himself for being an awful person (he uses much more colourful language of course) because he lies to his wife and treats her poorly despite being able to see that he is hurting her and making her life more difficult. He never does anything to rectify his behaviour and never apologises for it either. All the compromises have to come from the female protagonist, Noah’s wife Sabella. She has to accept that the man who apparently loves her decided to let her live in misery for six years for no good reason, that he’s going to take over her whole life and dictate her personal and professional choices for her, that when she stands up for herself he will just ignore her and do what he likes anyway, that he will never ask for forgiveness for being unnecessarily cruel to her and that the trauma he experienced was so great he can never be a gentle or caring person ever again.To make matters worse, the reader is supposed to believe that all this disturbing behaviour actually means he loves her. I like an alpha male hero but he has to have some nuance and/or redeeming features. Noah’s character has no light and shade, just shade.To summarise: the plot was far-fetched, the editing and writing was poor, the sex scenes were awful and as for the romance, he’s a selfish ass****, she’s got a disturbing view of how a relationship should work when two people love each other, and the ‘marriage’ between Noah and Sabella is a prime example of the kind of controlling, unequal and unhealthy relationship we all hope our female (or male for that matter) family and friends never enter into.

However, I could've watched a movie off netflix for free and occupied myself just as well.*read other reviews for synopsis*The good:-actually finished it without too much frustration-Jonas' character true to form-Storme's character, while not necessarily likeable, was somewhat believable and consistent character-wise throughout-Cassie's development was a nice touch, though very limited in exposureThe bad:-Styx's character was mostly sidelined. No offense to anyone else, but I kinda like focusing on the MALE a little more in my romances, and he was really just a secondary character, or a foil, if you will. He didn't really have a personality beyond "nice guy breed"-Navarro seemed lame as heck and the book is really going to be about him? How about someone we LIKE and WANT to read about? Like, Cassie, Dog, David, Ashley, Rule or Lawe (as lame as their names are).The Ugly:-HORRIBLE EDITING!!!! In the first chapter she goes from not having a certain weapon, to having the weapon in her jacket, to the weapon being mystically transformed into a different weapon.-EXTREMELY bad editing!-Book wasn't even 300 pages.-Sex scenes not super great (or remembrance worthy)-Plot interesting, but not compelling, and not enough to make up for the feeling of being cheated once the book is finished-Villians nobody knows/recognizes-Very little development of... everything.On the BRIGHT side, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and much better than some of her others. Choppy, but not terrible. I wouldn't say it's a straight up pay check book, but it definitely was written distractedly.I'm not going to say I'm writing the series off, but I'm definitely going to be checking the next one out from the library before I decide to buy anymore from the series.Not great, not horrible, disappointing, but I could've been watching reality tv instead, so not a total loss. Mediocre at best.

It is a shame that the qualities of the book are overshadowed by the enforced subscription to Safari Books Online. (Without the subscription, none of the exercises are available.) It is preferible by far to include a CD with the required digital content. The book is to be studied, and not just leisurely read. It is advanced in it's content, but includes very complete information on VBA.

As I was going through this book (and I really hope that I am wrong about this) I noticed in the first Chapter that the code does not work as the author described. The example shows a fullname that is supposed to populate only the first name field. But this is not the case. There also does not seem to be a way to contact the author short of establishing a twitter account I guess.

As a reasonably experienced VBA programmer I have acquired a long succession of Access manuals that for me have have never really met their aspirations. This book is different. It assumes from the start that you are experienced with Access or serious programming so no space is wasted dealing with trivialities, nor does it presume to force the reader into a prescribed way of working. The more one works through the book the more one appreciates the immense variety of different approaches and techniques that are covered, and this is achieved with a clarity and conciseness that belies the complexity. In its 700 pages in contains far more real meat than most books offer in twice the volume and it is hard to find a serious Access programming topic that is not addressed somewhere. The downside of that conciseness is that to start with it can take a while to track down what one is looking for, and one may also have to look at the downloadable companion code to see the detail for a particular issue, but once one has got used to the way the book is structured this ceases to be a problem. Looking at those areas where I have a particular expertise I could not quarrel with the way they are presented, and browsing more deeply I have discovered valuable ideas that I can use immediately. But equally importantly the book addresses emerging concepts and alternative techniques, and thus the book provides the impetus and resources to move forward into evolving technologies. For the serious VBA programmer this has to be the reference book of choice.

I am impressed with the information. It does require a little more knowledge of VBA, however, than just walking into this with no knowledge at all. Two things to look at before getting into this book:1) The first two videos of the "Wise Owl Tutorials" video series on VBA. These are done for Excel, so after the first two videos, the language is different. However, the incredibly well presented information on the syntax and layout of programming in general (specific, in this case, to VBA) is completely invaluable. Also, it is worthy of note that the VBA Editor window is identical on ALL MS Office products. Wasn't easy to figure out how to create an application from the way the material was presented. It builds a foundation with different topics and shows you the different options available (e.g. different UI modes built-in) and then later brings it together. However, this format made it difficult (for me) to figure out how to use VBA and Access.This book is more of a reference for this different aspects of VBA and Access, and covers a lot of material. The author is very knowledgeable of this stuff. So if you're more experienced in using Access with VBA, this book is invaluable. But I'll need a different book to get up to speed on putting it all together.

Great book lots of good ideas but it's difficult adapting some of the code for you own uses. I'm not an expert programmer.

When I bought this book, I did not realize it would cost me over $100. I must have been asleep when I bought it. It is a good book, but I am disappointed in its price.

You will still need to go online to the Microsoft site for a detailed reference of each control and its properties/methods. But this will get you so you know the right questions to research. I haven't read the whole thing cover-to-cover yet, as I bought it to complete a "hurry up and do it now" project a little outside my comfort zone (MS SQL Server and ASP.Net). And maybe it does have the answers to some of my lingering questions. But I got it done anyway. My Access VBA code probably looks more like C# and ASP.Net than a purist would prefer. If they keep sticking me with Access projects I will dig deeper.
