A lot of irrelevant information as it pertains to the NPS exam. COPD and all other adult related illnesses, meds, etc should be omitted. Some good information once you get past the irrelevance of majority of the content. Please, editor, go back through this book and fix all the typos, there are quite a few. I would not recommend as a sole study tool. Don't waste your money on this; invest in Kettering, it's worth it.
Please do not waste your money and time on this book. Not relevant at all to NPS exam questions.

I have found many typos some that change the meaning of what is said. Some other statements are ambiguous. The book just seems sloppy.
Like many others, I did not receive a discount on this book for my review. The book is poorly written and extremely repetitive. It does NOT include "tips from the NPS experts" or "real test secrets revealed". Most of the information is generic respiratory information and NOT specific to neonates or pediatrics. Even the test in the back in poorly written and not helpful in practice
My main complaint is there is no glossary, indication note or page number on the answer key on where to find the answer to the study question. I had to leaf through the 200 plus pages and remember where I had read it. The index was unhelpful to indicate where. No organized page of "formulas", it was all jumbled in the reading. I will sell it back and not recommending it to my co-workers/friends looking to get their NPS.
Very basic. Better for a nursing student just needing basic info .Not for Respiratory therapist student.
My initial impression of the book (compared to Kettering and those other bland books we studied for our CRT's & RRT's) is how easy this is to read, while still being completely comprehensive. I was absolutely impressed. The information is current and though I've only read 1/2 of the book (in a single night! Very easy reading!), I am very confident in obtaining my certification and becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist-Neonatal Pediatric Specialist; thanks to this study material!
